December arrived, weather unsettled with sleet and snow forecast in the very first week of the month.

Work continues with maintenance crews out doing final leaf clearance and site tidies for the year. All our teams are aware of the importance of winter maintenance as the growing season will soon be upon us again and we know the importance of being up to date with pruning, edging lawns, forking plant beds etc. by the beginning of March.
Winter plant and machinery maintenance work - all too important with major servicing and repairs carried out leaving routine maintenance checks to be carried out throughout the year.

So how has 2008 been for C R Swift Landscaping Ltd and our customers?

We have seen a steady growth in Council and NHS work, grounds maintenance, sports field drainage, equine facility construction, infact in all areas work other than highway maintenance where we lost a major contract beaten on price but certainly not on ability or performance. I doubt if 30% of the original specification has been met todate.  We hope a lesson learned by the client. We will be more than happy to offer our services in the future!
