Having been shortlisted for a 3 year contract by Essex County Fire & Rescue Service an interview was attended on the 5th of May 2009 at the recently aquired new Corporate Headquarters. At the interview we sold C R Swift Landscaping not on price but on Best Value and Vision. Later that day the contract was confirmed and a meeting requested at the site on the 8th of May.
We were requested to take a Risk Assessment and Method Statement to the meeting. Carl Swift and Steve McMillan agreed Joe Swift would be the contract supervisor and he was given ownership of the site.
Joe passed his CITB Construction Site Supervisor's Safety Certificate in October 2008. We intend to follow Joe's progress throughout the duration of the contract.
Work commenced on Saturday 9th May. Early photo's show the magnitude of the task facing Joe and his team to get the site under control.
