C R Swift Landscaping Ltd. have worked for several NHS Trusts both as a sub-contractor and directly. Below are photos of a landscaping job carried out for Basildon & Thurrock University Hospital. The scheme was designed by Ian McIver using 16 Betula utilis jacquemontii which provide excellent feature stems throughout the year, Spirea 'Goldmound' and Berberis 'Red Jewel'. Narcissus and crocus were planted in the lawn. A simple but effective planting scheme. Quality turf and a circular buff stone base were laid, the latter designed for a Haddenstone plinth on which will be placed an Armillary in mid-January 2009.
The NHS University Hospital has entered this landscaping project for an award. We wish them success.
